WELCOME BACK SUNDAY 2025

Sunday, September 7 begins our new program year as we welcome the return of everyone from their busy summer activities.

We start the day with Together in the Word  at 9:15 AM in the Black Prayer Chapel. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in this lively discussion of a different Bible passage every week.

Our Sunday service is next at 10:00 AM  which will include a Communion celebration. We also welcome back our Choir under the direction of Dan Matarazzo. In addition to the joyful singing of our Choir there will be an additional musical offering by local composer and musician Eric Bandel.

Following the service please plan to stay and enjoy the fellowship of each others' company at the ICE CREAM SOCIAL featuring Philadelphia's favorite Bassett's  Ice Cream.

The day will conclude with an evening concert presented by the Matsiko World Orphan Choir at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary.

Host Krista Tippett takes up the big questions of life with scientists, theologians, artists, and teachers — some you know and others you'll love to meet. Arrive a little before 7 and get settled in with your coffee. A time for discussion will follow.
